With an experienced team of jeweller's, designers, gemmologists and pearl & jewellery specialists on site, we are here to help you with all your manufacturing needs.
Repair Work:
Like most things, our jewellery will show signs of wear and tear over time. Whether worn daily or just on special occasions. We recommend an annual clean & inspection so we can detect signs of wear and tear and recommend when work is needed. This is a great way to avoid clasp failure, loosing precious stones, splitting in the metal or loosing the item all together. Some of the repair services that we offer are:
- Ring resizing
- Colour matching & replacing missing stones
- Chain repairs
- Rhodium plating for white gold jewellery
- Claw work
- Ring and bracelet reshaping and re-joining
- Soldering
- Re-oxidization
- Replacing clasps
- Pearl/bead rethreading (off-site)
- Jewellery cleaning & inspections

Remodelling:
We specialise in repairing and remaking sentimental jewellery that has become brittle and worn over time. You may want to restore a piece to its former glory & strength or remodel it in a new style or new item altogether. Here are a few ideas of what we can help you achieve:
- Restore a family heirloom to its former glory
- Remodel a dated or unwanted item into a fresh new style
- Combine a collection of unworn jewellery into one sensational piece. Bangles are a popular choice.
- Use gemstones and gold/metal from an existing ring to create a elegant new design that's a bit more you.
- Remodel a ring into a brooch, pendant, bracelet or earrings.
- We can source replacements for missing or lost gemstones or match a gemstone for colour and size. We can also re-cut or polish an existing stone.
- Any gold/platinum can be used for or credited towards a new design.

Valuations:
Do you need to have your precious jewellery possessions valued? Whether for insurance replacement, probate, sales between parties, second-hand replacement value purposes, estate valuation or simply to find out what your valuables are currently worth – let us arrange a professional and independent valuation.
Please bring in your item with any old valuations, or documentation you may have, and we will assist in sending it to one of New Zealand's most trusted and experienced valuers. Once assessed, you will receive a comprehensive breakdown of your valuables for insurance and appraisal purposes.
For more information, view our Valuations & Insurance section in the footer below.

Gem & Metal Identification:
When our onsite gemmologist is deciphering what stone is in that ring that your Aunt gave you, he uses a series of Gemological tests. Gemological testing involves observation of the surface and internal characteristics of a gem material and other non-destructive optical and physical tests. If you want to confirm the identity of something you have purchased or been gifted, the cost is only $35 per stone on our 2 week turnaround.
